New bands |  | You've probably already heard the bad news. Our first confirmed band, New Bomb Turks, cancelled their plans to do some shows this summer due to personal reasons. Hope all goes well and the guys can come over some other time.
On the other hand we can confirm some new bands for Sjock.

T-Shirt design Contest |  | Howdy
We will be printing new Sjock-shirts and are looking for a great design.
We like to challenge you !
Make an original design for our T-shirts and win a VIP-package for Sjock.
Some guidelines for design:
* try to capture the true Sjock spirit in your design
* do not use any dates, year or edition
* note that we are Sjock and not Sjock Rock (a common misunderstanding)
* T-shirts will be black (or you must convince us otherwise), and we usually use 2 print colors
* “Your Rock'n'Roll Highlight of the Year” is our motto, but this is not a must"
All designs must reach us before 15th of April on our emailadress (dimitri.daems@gmail.com)
All designs will be rated by Sjock and the top rated design will be used. The designer is the winner of this competition and will win the package below.
Sjock keeps the right to reject all designs. Of course none of the designs will be used by Sjock.
Your design will become property of Sjock and can only be used by Sjock or after approval of Sjock.

It's strange that The Blasters have never played Sjock before, as they are a landmark in the rock'n'roll/punk-scene. Finally we can fill this gap in Sjock-history.
NEW BOMB TURKS on our outdoor-stage
Each year we receive a lot of requests from our visitors to book the NBT again. And I must admit, there performance at Sjock 34 was legendary.
It's really admirable that they only play a few times a year, but every gig is more energetic then the one before, so we asked them to come over to Europe for Sjock again in July 2012 and they didn't hesitate to confirm.
