Aaaallright! If it weren't for the line-up already, this was one hot Sjock edition! We want to thank all of our volunteers, without whom this festival would not be possible: a very big thank you.
And of course we want to thank all you visitors for coming down and rocking out at Sjock! Anyway, we all had a blast this year, and after a holiday break for all of us, we will start working on your rock & roll highlight of 2011! See you there!

Lil Gizzelle cancelled

With regret we need to announce that Lil Gizzelle cancelled her show at Sjock. Apparantly there were some problems with her passport.
Luckily we can confirm another great female voice : Sue Moreno to replace Lil Gizzelle.
Sue Moreno will be backed by The Antwerp Allstars


WK South Africa

Congrats to both Holland and Germany for their victory in the quarter final. Now it's up to the final on July 11th.
We will show the final on the festivalsite, so it's really gonna be fun to watch the match with equal-minded people.

Howdy Rockers and rockettes

Finally summer is in Europe, so here's a few notes from your favorite festival.

We received some remarks about a band on the bill, some people had never heard of them, well here's what Blaine Cartwright from Nashville Pussy and Nine Pound Hammer had to say about this : “Pat Todd is the most sincere Rock 'n' Roll singer/songwriter on the planet. He makes the rest of us look like a bunch of fakers.” And Mr. Todd and his band is flying in solely for Sjock, so if you like to see this monument, only one place - Gierle, Sjockcity !
